Doubtless its about the location but an awful lot of time taken up by fishing which makes up less than 0.5% of our GDP.

Interestingly British fishermen depend heavily on fishing in Irish, French and Norwegian waters - I presume that like her view on UK citizens FoM today Mayday assumes we leave the CFP and get our waters back but will retain free access to the waters around EU states.

It's is a bit shit that even though our exit is the main topic 75%of the show has been devoted to it when the country has a lot more issues to politically debate

Totally. But like everywhere else in the world at the moment politics is reduced to squalid nationalism which suits failing government.,and they all are.

to colder waters I'd imagine. Unlike the more sophisticated European markets the UK market majors on the cod family - cold water fish. The seas around the UK are warming up hence we are getting more warm water species around the Southern UK cost - sadly the UK palate isn't all that keen on the more exotic incomers. No point in fishing for what you can't sell in your home port

No he's not. But it must be difficult being a Tory at the moment as they have brought this country to its knees.
