she is either too young or too ill informed to know that part of the reason given for privatising monopolies was competition was supposed to drive costs to the user down and investment in the infrastructure UP. Thames Water have done neither - its just a front company for the board to borrow on loans they can't pay back having dished the proceeds out amongst themselves - its simply a Mafia tactic dressed up as business
