Why does rain drop, but snow falls?
Maybe because snow takes up 10 times the volume of it's equivelent water weight. Dont know if that's true but sounds reasonable....Why is rain recorded in mm but snow in cm?
Because 1mm of rain is approximately the same moisture as 1cm of snow. Why is rain recorded in mm but snow in cm?
