And a great bar, quick service, tables, chairs, toilets close by, and quick and easy access in and out of the ground. I do feel spoiled by the club. :-)

I remember these so called toilets in the South stand near entrance M2.
Them were the days when you could just have a piss.
Nowadays you navigate your way through thick smoke and bump into people with half a gram of coke on their keys - it’s so exciting!

A good hack that my friend always does is use the M2 queue & walks straight to the M1 turnstile. There is no barrier segregating the two and saved him a good 25 minutes of queuing last night.

Your mates gonna be thrilled that you've told everyone ;-)

The post says that someone used the M2 queue but then went to the M1 turnstile. You can't enter via M2

Interestingly I saw someone do this on Sunday, there was a discussion with a steward from other fans, and he said it shouldn't have been allowed to happen, so who knows, probably mates with someone on the queues.

I also saw a fan do this on Sunday.
I thought good on him as he squeezed through the barrier to get into the M1 turnstyles
Last night they did not have the sense to have less barriers than normal.Still making you go the same distance despite there being no queues to get into the ground.

We really need a rethink of this whole security thing when entering the ground. It's a total waste of time for 99.99% of fans and is nothing more than a scheme to employ hundreds of divvies at everyone else's inconvenience.

level of security and checks seem proportionate to me, unfortunately in this day and age it's needed. more than anything they act as a deterrent

what alternative were you thinking of? banks of metal detectors?

Disagree. It's not needed. It only deters this approach, there are 100's of other ways, if one was so inclined.
