Queues

Does anyone know what the scanners are supposed to detect because I’ve had metal keys, a metal camera, money, etc in my pockets in a thin jacket and not once has a scanner every beeped when I’ve been scanned.

i hope you're not being sarcastic

cos it is a shame for a lot.
I'm not at all, it really is a shame, for anyone who supports the club to find themselves stuck outside in a queue after paying good money and looking forward to the game and then missing out, esp if they are then deciding that is it.

The question is why.
What was wrong with the system last season and the previous seasons?
Its certainly not my choice but I have an iPhone and I know what I'm doing with mobile ticketing. My complaint is that the club haven't got a fit for purpose system to have introduced it in the first place. There appears to be a culture at the club whereby people like Wilson tell those above them in the pecking order what they want to hear. Like mobile ticketing was a success for the Everton game last season. I attended that one and it was a fiasco.

Using shite, almost 20 year old scanners is a recipe for disaster so what are the club doing about it?

It would be better to install walk through metal detectors.

I’m convinced the reason they haven’t and they have the wizards waving their wands is so it slows down the que at the scanners.

If anything makes me pack it in it will not be the scanners, the referees, VAR, the players. It will be that God’s awful public transport system Metrolink.
I'm 56
i walk every where
i cannot drive nor want to
i work in the NHS
i go and come back on the tram
its rammed coming back and dangerous so i wait for it to calm down
never really had a problem with it to be honest

Ah yes I remember that, “following the success of the pilot v Everton”….
Arrived at the ground 90 minutes before kick off, got in the seat just as the ref was tossing his coin

If the club doing anything, which I very much doubt, they will never tell the fans, not even via the City Matters Reps, as the club tells them to keep everything confidential that’s discussed in the meetings, until the minimum minutes come out a month later.
