Queues

Got a email from the club saying new arrangements in place for the Stoke game accessing the stadium , it's saying people what entrances people should and shouldn't use to access the Campus , (not the stadium) so another plan to beat the queues ?

So if you come on the tram ?

I got an email about people queueing in the right queues in SS at M and N. People are doing that anyway, the problem is that N is a mile long, nothing wrong with M and I’m in in under 5 mins.

I got my email, it says please allow more time to get in, don't city know lots of our fans drink piss at Mary DS and don't leave till 5 mins b4 KO

Only promising line is:
Our dedicated Queue Managers will constantly monitor the queues and will deploy staff to the busier areas, if needed.

If they actually do that it could help improve things. Sometimes there are loads of extra stewards standing around at an entrance nearby with no queue while the queues for P for example are snaking out to the main road. Redeployment of stewards to the busiest entrances as kick off approaches would definitely help. Hope the Queue Managers get a good briefing and clear instructions!

*IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING CHANGES TO ACCESSING THE STADIUM TOMORROW*

Access Improvements to the Etihad Stadium

For improved access and to reduce congestion, we have made some changes to the way supporters enter the Etihad Stadium.

South Stand Entrance
For supporters who access the Stadium via M1, M2, N1 or N2, all entrances will now have a clearly identifiable queue. This is to avoid supporters being in the wrong queue and to maximise the space outside of each entrance.

Our dedicated Queue Managers will constantly monitor the queues and will deploy staff to the busier areas, if needed. They will also help to direct supporters and answer any questions.

Colin Bell Stand Entrance
Supporters who use Entrances P, R, S or T will no longer be able to access the campus from Sir Howard Bernstein Way. Supporters will be redirected onto Ashton New Road and will enter the site at Gate 6, opposite entrance P.

East Stand Entrance
Supporters who use entrances K, J, H and G will no longer be able to access the campus from the West (City Centre). Supporters will be redirected along Ashton New Road and will enter the site at Gate 10 from Sir Howard Bernstein Way, opposite Entrance J.

We would ask all supporters impacted by any of the above changes to arrive early to familiarise themselves with these changes.

If you have any questions regarding this email or entrance on a matchday you can call the Supporter Services Team on +44(0)161 444 1894 (option 1, option 3).
