I'm in the same boat, there's no way I can get there an hour before KO, even at a push it's going to be about 7.15pm when I arrive at the stadium. I've done that for every CL game this season and never had a problem.

If I'd have known before buying my ticket this was going to happen I wouldn't have gone.

This sort of tweet just adds to the traffic problems too by adding traffic to the already busy Rush Hour.

Yes but the downside is that some of us would struggle to get a train back home .

Get in 60 mins early and enjoy a bottle of pop, a £4 pie and lots of pre game entertainment. Throw in some announcements about yellow team leaders, the CL anthem and the obligatory cheesy flags and I can't understand why more don't rush for tickets.

You can hear announcements where you sit? The tannoy's been fooked in half the stadium and ear-splitting in the other half for years.
They won't start to give a shit until there's thousands of tickets left every week and then get a "service team" to spend six months sending out surveys to find out why, whilst all the time doing nothing.

CL games ko at 7-45pm, even for the rags. UEFA are totally inflexible on this.

It took less than ten minutes to get in the stadium, and I could drink beer at my seat.

Mary D's being shite does a good enough job at encouraging a lot not to booze there.;-)
