Quiet dignity

It's interesting that the British managers are often the ones who come out with this kind of stuff. It then gets lapped up by our xenophobic media.

The support of wee Davey, teflon Harry, Chris "he still has the dressing room' Hughton and the Talksport ramblings of Neil 'I love it, me' Warnock lay testimony to this bias.
Haha, top post!

It must be fucking lovely being a Liverpool fan, sitting up there, looking down on the less fortunate from the top of their pedestal of sanctimonious superiority. Going down to Anfield, the home of football, paying a couple of bob to see eleven homegrown heroes take to the hallowed turf, having first performed the world famous touching of the 'this is Anfield' sign ritual. Watching the boys, no 'our boys', play football the right way, the Liverpool way, 'pass and move, the Liverpool groove', safe in the knowledge that successive managers, King Kenny, Hodgson (who every supporter was right behind and showed true deference to his amazing CV, which is the 'Liverpool way') and now Brendan (a man who needs no surname) have assembled this group of lionhearts at no cost whatsoever. They truly are, fucking amazing, the biggest club in the world, the club of the common man and a shining example of Football Fair Play. I bow down before your greatness. JTF96, YNWA, RAWK, HMV, DVD, M&S, PMSL

Please boys, for all of us, just hammer these Scouse twats tomorrow.

Take a bow son

And another

EXCELLENT

John Henry must be over the moon with brendan rogers, obviously does not require any money in the summer to strengthen his squad because that's not the liverpool way, he will simply walk down scotland road pick up a couple of scallies kicking a can around send them to melwood and next season they will be liverpool legends! Brendan Rogers is asking everyone to show Liverpool respect tomorrow, he might get some if he research's the facts before slaging our club off and showing some respect himself!

I've heard a lot of crap - some of it disrespectful - this week from folk like Rogers, Jamie Redknapp, Jamie Carragher etc.

I have a lot of time for a lot of supporters in this country but when you read crap like this and the comments from Liverpool fans then I have little time for them. I hate football fans who try to take the high ground and attempt to pontificate about the rights and wrongs - they are the worst kind of football fan.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/15117/9260451/liverpool-have-momentum-ahead-of-huge-man-city-showdown" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www1.skysports.com/football/news ... y-showdown</a>

You'd think Liverpool haven't spent any money at all eh?

Or that they have made a £50 million this year too along with 'bad old' City?

Or that a lot of their fans were praying for Sheikh Mansour's brother to bail them out during their crisis in 2010?

Hypocrites....

Got to do them tomorrow, we'll pay our Hillsborough respects with quiet dignity and then shut the gobby sods up tomorrow and let the football do the talking as it should be.

is it just me that thinks that rogers is just trying to "stoke up" the liverpoo fans to create a noise for once?

Why on earth would he need to? Anfield is a seething cauldron of noise every week ...
