I know that it’s not on thread…..but the worst quizzes on UK TV are…
QUESTION OF SPORT - ultimate dumbing down of a once classic TV series. Shockingly bad at every level. Needs to be hooked.
Captains sliding little pretend curling stones!! Puerile nonsense.
TENABLE - utter shite. Warwick Davis has no personality at all and the entire concept is just a patheticly poor ripoff from Family Fortunes.
EGGHEADS - so bad that it went to Channel 5.

Agreed mate, “The Chase” for me too, almost pantomime like at times which adds to it and probably the only thing I’ve watched on terrestrial TV for a good while.

Be a shame when it eventually finishes, if it does (in my lifetime), the biggest challenge will be replacing Bradley Walsh, not quite sure it’d ever be the same without him.

You just have to go on YouTube and check out the number of Chase bloopers videos. If you are ever feeling down this is the perfect remedy.
It just wouldn’t be the same without Bradley Walsh. If it was on BBC they’d replace him with Alex Scott or Fara Williams.
With a sliding little plastic curling stones round.

That was 2008 and on BBC 2. It was good back then. The episode with the Suedeheads was legendary. There was one contestant who went on with a “WHITE SHIRT “!!
Who is the guy, back row, second left??

Tenable isn’t too bad, it can be quite hard, it’s just an unfair format if you get a question about something you know nothing about. Should give contestants a choice of categories. Warwick Davis isn’t too bad, there were some episodes when Sally Lindsay hosted it and they were weird, I guess you just get used to the usual host.

I’ve watched a few of BBCs IMPOSSIBLE (1:30 in the afternoon usually). That’s not too bad, easy watching I guess.

Can’t beat The Chase or Countdown for me though.
 
I like the house of games but only the answer smash bit at the end, and also only connect, but only the last round in that too, where they give you the first letters. I miss turnabout, that was a good quiz show
