He leaves behind a wife of 28 years, my brother Peter and me. He died unpainfully in a coma and all his family were there when he passed away. He was a father of great advice, humour and encouragement and a devoted and loyal husband.

I would like to thank all those who will post messages of support and for thier kind and generous words. He was a very opinionated blue but he was even cared for by those around him.

See you at the pearly gates dad, your suffering and pain is over now. May you rest in peace.

Andy

The strange thing is that you see these threads and are gutted for them and you never think it's gonna be your time to post it one day.

Regarding happy memories? God, there's a load. He was a joiner by trade so I have funny stories from there. They shown my dad a porn mag once and said look at the arse on her, bearing in mind I'm about 16 and my dad went to me on the way home 'oh shit, don't tell your mum!'

I will be taking his seat next season in his memory. If anyone wants to come over Vs Bolton I will PM you my details seat wise. Thanks for all your support.

Anyone know who I talk to re. rememberance garden @ City and a tribute of some sort?

Always sad to hear such news. I'm really sorry for your families loss. Thankfully he died in peace and without pain.
Take care
