I know you have mate. I think he was just ready. I was told he would never have full mobility again so he'd have been a prisoner in his own body. He had such an active lifestyle so it wouldn't have been what my dad wanted. Fuck...it's just hard y'know?...he's my male role model for fucks sake.
 
The following night he went into a deep coma. I personally believe he could have overcome it if his heart was in it but he had enough suffering to last him a lifetime. It was a battle where he didn't want to prolong the inevitable really. He didn't deserve what he went through at all.
