Racehorses with City Names

Striking Viking went and snuck off to Germany and won a Group race, unfortunately my tracker doesn't alert me to German races so I missed it. What a farce!
 
Blue Moon Boy runs today at Galway 16.35

There was another one called Blue Blue Moon in the race after aswell but unfortunately that's a non runner
 
Blue Moon Boy ran OK, not going to be a world beater but he has some ability, hopefully gets a kind mark for his handicaps now.

Will keep an eye for Blue Blue Moon popping up over the next few weeks as she has a pretty nice pedigree and showed a bit of talent in her first run which was a decent maiden. Shame she didnt run today.

Any idea what price striking Viking was in the race he won in Germany..
 
For fans of our former Chairman

Maestro Bernstein is about to make his debut at Listowel next race.

Should be a smart horse, has an incredible pedigree out of the Arc winning mare Found.

Might need the run today as he's very easy to back at a price of 5/1 but defo one to put in the trackers.

Big price for an O'Brien horse haha you'll have to wait till next year and Bernstein will probably pay you back lol it looked like they were just showing it a racecourse today. Plenty of those types of horses end up winning first time though not the worst use of a free bet.
 
Blue Storm 2.05 Haydock. 11-2
Won the race last year on heavy, good to soft today with showers. Only 1lb higher. Off 11 months and had a pipe opener last time out in prep for this.
Won 2nd time out last year after a break. Hopefully same again this year. 5 furlong sprints can be very unpredictable though.
Owner seems keen on it...

Doubling it up with Blue Water 2.10 @ Listowel ..11-4 fav. Hurdling and Handicap debutant for Gordon Elliot and Racing Post Nap for the meeting.
23-1 Each way double (4 places on skybet for Blue Storm).

City Captain down in class. Fav in higher grade last time out (3rd). Racing Post Nap

Blue Empress - £100k horse. Winless in 14. Dropped further 2lb and in lower grade. Has to go in sometime. Middleham Park stables, which has lots of City related horses.

Blue Seeker - backed in from 16-1 last night. Won off 8lb higher at same venue last year. Awful last few runs ..still last after wind op. Hoyle Doyle up. Market bet.

City Captain strongest fancy.
