Never thought about backing the best horse in any race that had a blue connotation running in it, so thats where I’m going wrong.Just backed that, not because of the name but because it was the best horse in the race, won easy.
Indeed.Seargant Pep wins - happy days
Is there any chance he will be in contention for the Guineas or Derby next year?View attachment 124170
Our lad achieved a timeform rating of 108 at the weekend which makes him the top rated 2 year old horse trained in Britain this season! Only 3 from Aidan O'Briens huge Irish yard have ran to a higher rating than the Viking!

Or is it too early to tell?
Cheers.I wouldn't think he'd get a derby trip, but Guineas is a possibility if he keeps on progressing. My gut feeling is he'll end up a sprinter though.
Searchingtheblues won at 50/1 5-15 Kempton.Blue flag flying high has pissed in at 9/4
Cheers.
On a side note, the last horse to do the Triple Crown was Nijinsky, in 1970, and the previous time it was done was 35 years before that.
I know that it’s not often that colts enter all three classics nowadays, but it shows what a tremendous feat it is.
