It was the WOLVES fans singing the "his dad washes elephants" version.
Im with the op on this. Was a racist song and the stewards/police that were there should of dealt with it when it first started. A few people mentioned it to the stewards/police inbetween the fans but they did nothing. They should of threw out the small group of scum that started it and stopped it from growing.
The wolves fans today were embarrassing, came out with some very ragish songs from the ones that i could actually understand. What the hell was chanting "arsenal" or "chelsea" all about??
Agreed, if it was a larger contingent of them it should really be reported to Wolves directly.ninjamonkey said:I can't believe some people are still talking about the wrong thing after the op has pointed out twice that he wasn't referring to the "hung like an elephant" version nor was he talking about our own fans singing it. This is the perennial argument in defence of racisim - " I have a black friend who........"
It's bollox, mate. There's no excuse for slagging someone on the basis of what colour they are. It's just not right.
Everyone who does it should be kicked out of the ground. Even if it means stopping the game and forcibly evicting 200 people. There should be a line drawn. No racism! "Part of the game" for ages or not. It has to change.
