racist blues

mcfcjosh i know what i heard and racist shit pisses me off, and no there is no political or semi-political agenda i loathe and despise racism, maybe it was as suggested an outsider in the city end, i don't care, absolutely no need for that shite, if you think that way, thats your choice, no need to spout it and we don't need it at city.
Oh and for my user name, i used to sit in the northstand at maine road, happy days, and i didn't hear that crap then.

You loathe and despise racism but not enough to challenge the culprit or report him to a steward. To say nothing is to take sides. I stand by my first and second post I think you have a hidden agenda and its political.

They were stood in row II 25/26 right next to one of the leakiest parts of the roof and I heard them all game. They were clearly drunk but its not really an excuse. I regret not saying something but sometimes its not worth getting involved. Its not good hearing our fans saying stuff like that though.

This is a funny thread. It's going to end up like the threads about m*nich songs in the ground!

I'm still looking for the internet warriors who are 'gonna give a slappin' to anyone who does it. Everytime the Tevez song starts I have a look round for the one or two who are thrashing like tasmanian devils at the thousands of supporters around them.

Not seen them yet.

They're probably busy sneaking around looking for people smoking in the bogs or doing any of the other thousand things that they are going to slap or (more likely), report them for!

Comedy gold. (maybe even comedy Gold And Yeller)

There is no excuse for overt or covert racism. If you did not feel safe challengeing them you could have had a word with a steward on the QT.

This thread should be re-named the jeremy kyle thread! FFS, we have posters who definitley heard racist slurs and one who did not! I have heard racist comments myself (i was with my daughter and still told the plonker he was a clown) but why would they say he was a cheat? If the 'alleged' incident did indeed happen, i conclude they were not blues. I also find it hard to believe, that people were racially abusing a player (especially one of our own) and no one gave the offender(s) a right hook!

What a stupid thread.
No it isn't. Shows that blues wont tolerate racism.

I hear these comments at football all the time, and it's good to hear that most fans don't want any part of it. But don't pretend it doesn't exist

I'll second that, there's loads of them!

Spout what TWAT?

He said he didn't hear anything!! Just because that contradicts your bullshit post you are now calling him a racist?

When did he call him a racist???? And why call him a tw@t? He's been on here a lot longer than you sunshine.... Now someone else has confirmed it - Now who feels like a tw@t???
Some of you must be in another world if you feel none of our fans are racist - all clubs have them - It's been around for donkey's years - Personally think it will always be there unfortunately.

I agree with you that this is a very useful thread. I have also heard a racist abuse by so called city "fans" at the ground and after the ground at piccadilly train station.

When I heard the threats and racist abuse being directed at some black women at the train station I asked the train driver to stop the train and call the police. They were arrested for Section 5 aggravated public order offences ( racist abuse), and pleaded guilty in court. I was hoping that they would be banned from the ground but cps solicitor said they will be banned at the next offence.

This will probably rile some on here but I could'nt care less. Whats right is right.

Thank goodness for sane fellow Citizens. I take the OP at his word as I have experienced this bullshit since 1971, as a Mancunian son of a brown father and a white mother. As ever, some people want to wash racism away. They are not racists, but just refuse to see the reality of some of their white counterparts.

I can give you many examples of this abuse over the years, but I'm too busy watching the brilliance of that white Argie Messi [it's irony if any of you are struggling].

Why shouldn't the press report on this discussion? Then tell every other club's fan forums to do the same. The worst thing about racism is, and always has been, that certain sections of humanity want to pretend that it doesn't exist. That goes for Black/Asian/Chinese/etc. racism the other way as well. No-one is immune. Get a grip and deal with reality. As someone said, we have the most multi-cultural of clubs for many reasons. Time to wash the scum of racism away from our club once and for all. FFS we have a Sheikh for an owner, and a large Black, Asian, Chinese and Jewish following. It'll be worse in the lead up to the general election as the far right love the attention. Fuck the Nazis and show them the way to the gates of hell, through words of intellect and the moral backbone that we all possess.

This is a very weird thread, I know there is a lot of moronic behaviour at football matches but this just dosn't make sense.
I have noticed the posters supporting the op have very few posts between them so am giving this story no credibility.

What's weird is that, after 187 post, you are able to make this judgment. Even if the OP is lying, the thread is still valid. As I have already predicted, apologists for racism are never far away. They always lack credibility.

Thanks for accusing me of being an apologist for racism, Im not.
Im just a city supporter who is bit suspicious of the original story what has the number of my posts got to do with that?

If the OP is lying then he should be named and shamed by Ric!!

I can't see your argument that the thread is valid if what the OP said is not true.

Also, I am not stupid enought to believe that racism doesn't exist and some of our fans are racist, but what I found very strange about the original post is how this guy couldn't identify someone making racist comments in close proximity to him.

Sorry, but I simply don't believe the OP and he started this thread for reasons known only to himself. Maybe he was pissed that we won 6-1!!

I didn't accuse you of anything but apologise if that was your interpretation. Numbers always count, as I'm sure you know. ;)
