Radamel Falcao Zarate

We seem to have a good relationship with Atletico as for such a big transfer the Aguero transaction was quite smooth.

Could be something in it if Tevez and Dzeko both leave, though not for that price, no way.

Interesting snippet from The S*n which suggests he may personally want the move.

And the striker, 26, is eager to switch to the Premier League for the sake of his international career.

His transfer to Atletico was badly received in Colombia, with many in the South American country believing he belongs at a much bigger club.

Funny how big players in smaller South American foot almond nations have to consider the populations reactions when making a transfer. I remember when Valencia was being touted for Villa (with Young going to Chelsea) and how much of a problem that became.

I am pretty fond of us growing a relationship withthe Valencia's and Athletico's of the world. But they also have to respect us and our evaluations of our own players. It would be nice to have a club willing to take our up and comers on loan.

Before he signed his new contract in June he had a buy out clause for 26m. Surprised no one put a bid in. Would suit this league but wouldn't suit our team.

Interested to know why not?

For me he's a terrific player. Better all round than Kun. Certainly works harder than Balo. Considering he's not that tall he's a great header of a ball.

If Tevez leaves, which is odds on, he would be a good replacement. Far better than his former team mate at Porto, Hulk.

#Falcao to #MCFC rumours not that hard to believe. Atleti didn't pay for, and neither do they really own, him.

Reckons Falcao is third-party owned, although another journo on his timeline seems to think Chelsea is more likely.

Very interesting, it did seem strange that Atletico sold Kun for approximately £38million and seemed to reinvest most of it on Falcao when they are something of a selling club, so this would make sense.

He just scored for Atletico against Hannover in the Europa League too.
