It's ridiculous that we could of got him for £7million more than we could of sold Balotelli for.
Balotelli and (unfortunately) Dzeko out, Falcao in and Guidetti as a 4th choice striker.

Genuine question - Is this lad just having one hell of a wonder season where everything he touches turns to gold or has he been the real deal for the past few years and is just getting better?

He's been doing it since 2009 when he was at Porto and he doesn't just do it in the league, he does it in whatever European competition his club are in (usually Europa League, he deserves better). Falcao is so hard to mark, if you watch him in the box he's always moving in zig-zag like patterns, confusing the defender and making space for himself. At the same time you need good playmakers/crossers to read his runs and pick him out.

Thanks for that. I'm just worried about forking out 50m or whatever on a player that may not get as many chances with the style of football we're currently playing. We're so narrow down the middle and trying to thread little neat passes through massed ranks of defenders instead of maybe stretching teams and creating more space.

If Chelsea can act as decisively as they did for Hazard and secure Falcao in January then it's a game changer as far as the league title race goes. Really really hoping that PSG gazump them.
