We're big news now, and everyone will have an opinion about us whether we like it or not. We'll just have to get used to it, and ram their words back down their throats.

We're besieged on all sides, it only makes me love the club more but at the same time the clubs should be doing something about this - never has there been such a smear campaign, Chelsea didn't get it half as bad. New policy should be to ban any representative of a newspaper that prints lies and slander about us.
What do people expect they will say about City?
Even the most blinkered Blue at Wembley yesterday couldn't mount a decent defence of that performance.
It was shocking. It might have been a friendly, it might have been "close" but football pundits have to come up with a point of view, and there's nothing easier than a swipe at City viewpoint after a performamce like yesterday.
But it's the same for Chelsea... and Arsenal... and if Spurs lose a couple of games, it will be about them as well.
Big investment leads to big expectations leads to big criticism when it doesn't come off.
Would it be preferable when we were all complaining that TV and the radio pretty much totally ignored us when we were mid table? If you want to play with the big boys, that comes with the territory...

You could try ignoring them. Radical, I know. But give it a go, it works for me every time. I don't take the slightest notice, either when they are praising us or slagging us off.
