Borges should already have done.Mebude and Ndala could be knocking on the door within 12 months.

As for Palmer....he is better than the sporadic opportunities he is getting,a consistent run in our side,in his favoured position,would show what a wonderful talent he is.If that is not forthcoming,the kid needs a loan.

What's his best position?
From what I've seen it's on the right, but Mahrez is flying and I'd argue Foden is second choice to play there, when fit.
He's got a great ability to get clear of players in very tight situations but I just don't think he'll get these opportunities as he's not as good as Mahrez or Foden.

Me too, could get SMS from Lazio as well for the price they’d want for Leao.

Leao looks a great player, but he’s got a really heavy first touch from what I’ve seen.

Leao seems to be the winger with the most links that look genuine but what do I know. I believe the reports that we would be interested in Saka as well but can’t see that deal ever happening. My guess is we are looking at him but want evaluate everything else first ie. the system used, what players stay and go and probably what midfield we want first. I think there is a world we’re we really strengthen but keep Grealish/Foden/Mahrez/Alvarez/Palmer as wide options and don’t buy Leao or anyone else.

Admittedly I'm no scout unlike some on here but having watched leao play a few times I can't see how he fits in... Hes rapid and skillful but that is not what we require from our wingers...close control, good in tight spaces and explosive more like the profile were after? Unless we start playing on the break with him and the big man goal hanging lol

we already have all those right now. we want leao for the different skills he brings to the squad. need variety and options.

When you say we want, I'm not sure Pep wants and in the end that's the only opinion that matters. He said not that long ago the way we attcked with Sane and Sterling isn't possible now with how teams set up against us.

you don't know what pep wants and that quote means the exact opposite of what you think it is. he was saying he would like to attack fast but can't because we don't have those players now. maybe that is exactly why he wants Leao.
