Wow what a wanker Edwards was. I had the unfortunate experience of meeting Martin edwards at a party. What an arrgant tw@t he is.
 
this is probably a very stupid question but i have no business knowledge whatsoever

if a company (and that is what all fotball clubs are run like now i guess) is so much in debt (£750m ish) how can they be worth anything....is it based on their potential to earn money....ie if utd win the leagu champs league etc?

if that is the case how much would utd earn for instance if they won the champs league and prem league?
I presume they also add gate receipts for the season and merchandising as well as sponsopship to earnings as well?

even with all this does it come close to paying off that huge debt? I presume there is huge interes on that debt as well so if the interest rates on borrowing go up drastically then they could be in real trouble...even a 1% rise on such a huge sum would be a lot of money wouldnt it????

According to silly twat on SSN, they are hoping to generate a sale by fund raising amongst all the Newton Heath fans, particularly the more affluent ones. If only it were that easy.
 
the glazers have said the club is not for sale and why should it be? it's a cash cow for them even more so after the bond issue. even that wheezing fat rag twat steve curry said on ssn this morning that the glazers aren't going to sell in the foreseeable future.
