how do u have their accounts ?Prestwich_Blue said:Interesting this. Just been checking their accounts and their freehold property is valued at around £250m. This includes the swamp, Carrington, The Cliff and other bits and pieces. So it's not unreasonable to suppose that the Swamp & Carrington are worth around £220m.
Yep, they've definitely sold them I reckon. Brilliant. Going to be mayhem when that one finally hits the papers.

The accounts for the last three years, plus a load of other details, were shown in the bond offer document so I looked the freehold property figures up in that. Some very interesting stuff in there.irishblue59 said:how do u have their accounts ?Prestwich_Blue said:Interesting this. One possibility is that the Glazers might have bought it. Sounds strange I know but I think they've set up a separate company, transferred the swamp into it and set up a financial chain that will see the cash pile in the rags bank account make its way to their company in order to repay the loan they've taken out to pay off the PIK notes.mrbelfry said:I really hope they've sold old scaffold. Supposing they've sold it who would buy it and for what purpose? Would it be purely to charge united rent?

The rent they receive then goes straight into their pockets, which is another device for taking yet more money out. Plus they get to keep it, whatever happens to the rags.

Yes they can. The bond prospectus says so on page 22.Jacob333 said:Prestwich_Blue said:Interesting this. Just been checking their accounts and their freehold property is valued at around £250m. Old Trafford was included as part of the Bond offering so they couldn't borrow anything against it or sell it as far as I can remember.
