This doesnt mean a lot under platini's new proposals - which couldnt have worked out better for united, in fact its as if the rules were made specially for them.
As long a the debt is servicable they'll be ok and able to keep spending as they generate more revenue than anyone else.
As for us, the days of a shock Kaka signing etc are coming to an end, we've can have all the money in the world, it doesn't matter unless our revenues take a massive hike, and it would have to be a huge hike before we'd be able to sign these world stars. All this talk of getting round it by sponsorships etc is a non starter.
All these years staring at other teams buying the world's best, this may well be even worse - having the money and not being allowed to use it.
I just can't believe he's been allowed to do it.
