I am not a betting man, but for those of you that are, I can think of worse gambles than to put a small amount on CARROLL scoring against the rags.

Torres should have had a hat-trick today.

Can't see Carroll starting. Bellers and Suarez would be a good option against Manure's gash defend.

and Evra losing it by the day. Surely a defender or two has to be brought in at the death star this summer unless you're going forward with the curly haired twins and Viseli?

The past couple of months, Evra's been in his best form for, literally, years. I still think he can cut it for another couple, though he's far more useful as an attacking force.

Veseli was a nothing signing. On the off chance that he makes it - woo - in the likelihood that he features a couple of times for our reserves, then nothing lost.

The twins are good young fullbacks. Rafael was immense today. Jones is...a midfielder. And although everyone on here thinks he's shite, Evans is a decent player.

Ferdinand is well and truly gone though.

Torres should have made it 4-2, if he was our player I'd have long given up hope. He still does some nice things, his hold-up play and passing are good, but you buy a player like that to score goals. He makes Dzeko look like Messi as a goal scoring forward. If Chelsea replace him with Cavani next season and fill other gaps, they will be near the top.

I thought everything but his finishing was very good today.

Of course that's one trait a striker probably doesn't want to lose...

It's pretty clear what's going on.
Ferguson knows his team can't match our quality, and has now adopted a different approach.
One that involves every fookin scum player falling down in front of the ref whilst not taking his eyes from said refs face.
This ups the ante (whilst Ferguson rants and raves on the touch line shouting 'feckin' JOKE!!) and the ref then capitulates into having to give the scum something.
