The team city played versus the team the rags played were light years apart.

I seem to remember we got some great decisions that day too.

Rag78...How come you havent mentioned Zenidine Cleverly yet?

I will let his feet do the talking.
You have to admit though, he is a cracking player. I can't recall a player having such an impact on our style of play. I recall him tearing you to bits in the Charity shield.
how many games has zico cleverley played this season?
and he did tear us to bits mate you`re right,he gave us a right good footballing lesson did our tom, just a shame he didn`t tell anybody that his twinkle toes are made of glass...
so if zidane cleverley is the new paul scholes and you have got the ginger back, how can they possibly play together?

He'll probably win player of the season for those 5 appearances in the league.
Mata,Silva and RVP have no chance.

LOL

That made me laugh.

I think his loss really put a spanner in our works this season. Well, losing him and Anderson. Both players complemented each other.

Having Scholes back in the team will aid Cleverley's development IMO.

-- Mon Feb 06, 2012 2:53 pm --

To be honest with you, he does look a bit injury prone. I suppose the next few weeks will see if he has had double glazing put in his boots.

no doubt about the two penalties. you have to give credit to united for making a comeback. chelsea only have themselves to blame. two needless penalties and torres wasted a really good chance. we knew united would drop points in this run of matches so this is a really positive weekend for us. we have added an extra 3 goals to our goal difference and pulled two points clear. i would have taken that before the weekend.
I'm not sure quite how anyone can view the Welbeck "penalty" and claim there was no doubt about it. Ivanovic didn't connect with Welbeck, it was the other way round, Welbeck saw Ivanovic was there and intentionally connected with him. The Evra one was soft, but probably justified, the Welbeck one wasn't even close.
no doubt it was soft, but ivanovic has gone in and not won the ball. in situations like that you are just asking to give a penalty away. the player wasnt going anywhere so i am more inclined to question ivanovic's judgement than howard webb.
Ivanovic doesn't even try and make contact. He is actually trying to avoid it because he knows he can't get the ball. So dizee rascal desides to kick Ivanovic and fall over.

Your lot never learn, do they?

In the last few years you've had so many new messiahs I've lost count.

Cometh the hour and all that.
