Rags v Chelsea

The player himself said it was a foul. Even the Chelsea manager insinuated that he was lucky to stay on the pitch. The tackle was clearly reckless.

That tackle was worse than the one that got Kompany sent off IMO.
You're really overcooking this, probably to justify the other penalties. Its a foul, outside the box, it isn't reckless, and Ivanovich is ahead of Cahill at the post covering Young's run. Free kick, outside the box, no red card. Its hard to say whether Cahill got the ball and diverted it, or Welbeck let the ball roll away from him so he could trip over. But he was certainly tripped.

Yet, after all is said and done, we got a point where you didn't.

That could be a big factor come the end of the season.
I need to check the math, but last time I checked, we too got a point.

Or have Sky done away with all pretences and just awarded it as a United victory?

I meant you lost at Stanford Bridge.

But we won at Sold Trafford what was the score again?

what a load of old shit,so you reckon that point you gained at chelsea could win you the league????????

ha ha ha ha please mate, your small talk for such a big club is too much,so the remaining 14 games will have no significence whatsoever to who wins the league?

come on glazerite, get with the programme, you`ll be telling me you`ve never bought anybody next....

Come to think of it, we have picked up a few points in places where you have dropped them.

That away form will have to improve.

-- Mon Feb 06, 2012 2:40 pm --

That malaise has well and truly passed. It passed the day we knocked you out of the cup. And I dare say it will improve further when we beat you to the title.

The team city played versus the team the rags played were light years apart.

I seem to remember we got some great decisions that day too.

Rag78...How come you havent mentioned Zenidine Cleverly yet?

I am just giving my objective opinion.

not at all, read above and you'll see I've posted that I did not find Aguero's penalty shout vs Everton as a penalty though many Blues did

If this happened against City I would probably be mad by seeing it in the real time but after seeing this I think I would say the same stuff

Player himself said he touched the ball with his studs and he said he was lucky that ref did not call anything. I agree with him that he was lucky. Though I don't think it's foul at all it could easily be given nowadays, specially when you play against United.

I will let his feet do the talking.
You have to admit though, he is a cracking player. I can't recall a player having such an impact on our style of play. I recall him tearing you to bits in the Charity shield.

He'll probably win player of the season for those 5 appearances in the league.
Mata,Silva and RVP have no chance.

Your just over hyping another player, like you do with every player, he will be playing at Sunderland in a couple of years time and you know it, who was the new Duncan Edwards? Remember your Serbian superstar, who you signed who was meant to be one of the potentially best players in the world,

It's very simple. Cleverley, just like Anderson, has a history of bad injuries. He won't ever play consistently because he won't ever be fit enough for long enough. The clever rags already know that the paper over the cracks is getting thinner. Without three new midfield players this summer you'll struggle to finish in the top 4 next season. Which ultimately is why there's such a desperation to try and usurp City (which you won't do) - because this is probably the last season where you are the team there or thereabouts. I expect next season the top 4 will be City, Chelsea, Spurs, and Liverpool.
