Raheem Sterling - 2016/17 performances

He's literally one of, if not our most consistent player this season.

No player plays well every single game.

Shame that the media got into the head of people like yourself and with the likes of you Sterling is held up to a standard which is near impossible to achieve.

No media got into my head mate,I go,and make my own assertions

I'm a frayed knot mate, I'm not having that he's "not that good", sorry. He's frustrating at times, there's plenty of room for improvement still but as he's showing this season, he's getting there.

I live in hope,I really do mate,I will be the first to hold my hands up and eat as much humble pie thrown at me when he proves to me otherwise, although I won't hold my breath, but I'm asking him to play out of his skin for rest of season,to maybe win us the cup,or at least, finish top 4

If you have that kind of times on your hands to trawl my posts, then good luck to you,my post history will also show you how long I've been on here, and as a season ticket holder have seen with my own eyes how performances have been.

As for the 4 other players you have mentioned, they have not warranted any particular criticism from me really.

Been a shame for Stones without a helper at the side of him this season, this will help us all including himself next season, where he be stronger, and our future captain

Sane - Been a few non existent performances since he got his chance, but as always looked our most potent threat from a wide position, and has chipped in with 4 goals in 14 starts

Aguero - I'm firmly in the camp that he is the best striker we have ever had at the club,in my time of watching us since 1981,has his moments, agreed, but he will never be able to do wrong in my eyes between now and the end of his career at City, simple as that

KDB - I've got higher hopes, that is all I can comment on him, this season being in mind a poor one

How have they not warranted any criticism but Raheem has? Something clearly not right there lol.

No you don't. His representation is so damaged after a media hate campaign that some people like yourself are unable to shake of the mindset that's been implanted into your mind.

There's a clear conflict in your mind where you struggle to even give him credit without adding a 'but'.

There's an issue where you made up your mind last season and now you're struggles to accept the changing situation, following a rapid improvement. It's how people talk about other people they don't like when they do something good.

There's maybe only 2 players at City who even been close to having as many good games as Sterling this season. One is Silva and the other is Aguero, although that's purely for the amount of goals he has scored rather than his overall performances.

I look forward to you adding this same analysis and point of view to the other players whenever they have a good game (but) or bad game, as there some other big players who have been way below Sterling's level this season.

No I don't what ?

Sterling is frustrating because he can be so good.

We had about 75% possession against Hull, but if you look at the crucial decisive bits of the game it was Sterling who came up with the goods. Two assists on Saturday. For all the fantastic passing in the build up to the 2nd goal, it was Sterling putting his foot on the accelerator to burn past 3 defenders who made the difference

When he that in his locker, he should do it more often. I'd settle for seeing less of him on the ball, and just try and get him on the ball in the penalty area with instructions to run at his man. We need to get him out of central areas of the pitch, and into danger areas where he can hurt the opposition.

Sterling has comfortably out performed Sane this season but Sterling is the one you have singled for your criticism? I agree with what the others have been saying. You are blinkered. No matter what Sterling does you have already made your mind up like a lot of other idiots last year did as well. He has something like 14 assists, 9 goals, won like 5 penalties (should have been 10 if the refs did their job) but that's still not good enough for you? Fuck sake.

No I've had a few minute to digest what you have said there, let me put this to you then.

Firstly -I am an emotive person when it comes to City, idiot you suggested I was ,nah, daft as fuck at times maybe, and been so defensive of everything City for past 30 years

Secondly - Have you ever this season, either being there or watching us on telly, ever said "For fuck sake Sterling !" on one or more occasions ?

If your answer to the second part is no,then I will definitely have a clearer picture of who is blinkered here
