You must have realised by now that you cant critique Sterling on here? The S.D.F. (Sterling Defence Force) will quickly see you off.
Had it all last year mate, I know what I am in for haha!

One example in a full season though and even then it wasn't the best keeping. Cech got pelters for that going in near post but its more of that we miss with him. Agree to disagree on Neville, I don't mind him and when he is talking about players he has coached I'd welcome that knowledge.
Ok, here's another example, the one he hit against the rags straight at De Gea, that was a great strike. Then there was another two that were terrible strikes in the same game. So to sum up, capable but inconsistent in this area of his game.
Capable? For one strike straight at a goalkeeper? The fact he hasn't scored one goal outside the area says it all. I am not criticising him for that it's an example he cant strike a ball otherwise he would have a few goals from distance. He has scored so many open net type goals, ball played across the box and he has massively scuffed them and somehow ended up in. As I say it's that natural footballing ability he lacks and why I can't see how he can improve much more. Instinctively is when he is at his best.
We're talking about the ability to strike a ball are we not? Regardless of where it ended up that shot showed he has the ability.
I don't know if you are joking or not. You say you recognise his flaws and agree with some. You agree his striking of a ball isn't great yet now claiming he has the ability because of one strike straight at a goalkeeper? You're all over the place if you agree his striking of a ball isn't great then end it there don't dig out an awful example to try and prove he can strike a ball?
I said his striking of a ball is inconsistent, seriously mate what is with you and not understanding what I'm saying?
Answer me this Tom, have you ever heard anyone saying 'that was a great strike, a yard either side of the keeper and that's going in'?
Inconsistent would suggest he can strike a ball but doesn't do it often enough, though your only example being a shot straight at the keeper. He is useless at striking a ball and you can admit it without being a bad person.
