Good shout by @prestwichblue on Twitter re the booing of Raheem. Maybe we should open a similar thread to the Ref for the match one and name an opposition player to randomly boo for each match.

Raheem came into the shop where my mum works today and bought a load of stuff. My mum had no idea who he was and gave him a voucher for £20 off his next purchase if he gave them a good review on Trust Pilot. She said he was a really nice, polite and well mannered young man, with no airs or graces what so ever.
I told her he gets dogs abuse and tried explaining why. She could not get her head round it and said he came across as being really shy.
The behavior of the media in this country towards him is an absolute disgrace. The pressure he must be under at such a young age must be so difficult. I really hope he comes through it all and flourishes under Pep.

She tried to bribe him? Hope she doesn't run to the tabloids if he leaves said review! Haha!
 
It's ridiculous that he gets attacked for not being the finished article at 21...

When Mahrez was 21 he was playing for Le Havre.

Yea on MOTD they were complaining he's not the finished article and then not making the incredibly obvious point that he's only 21 years old so isn't expected to be!

If it was a united kid they were talking about, neville would have emphasized that point and focused on the positive, unlike ignoring that point completely and focusing on every negative, or even making some up it seemed
