Raheem Sterling - 2016/17 performances

The only knock I could put on him today was their full back was on a last warning and he barely took him on after that.

Said he'd be young player of the year this season, stand by that despite him playing for us..

Not only is he back on track, he looks like he's improving which is what we were hoping he would do when we signed him, he's not the finished product but it's looking like we were right to sign him.

Oh and watching some of the more opinionated members who seem to think they know it all choke on their humble pie is quite satisfying too... i'm sure we all knew what he was about,the disappointing thing is so many of the players heads had gone down under MP, on a personal point for Sterling at some point he must have been saying WTF am i doing here a bad bad career move which was simply down to Pellers, im stunned at how pep has turned the team around in what just a few weeks,we really are going to clear up over the next decade or more, and those rags are going to have to look over there shoulders and watch it
 
It's amazing what a manager with a bit of tactical awareness and a football brain can do to players....

Pep has completely transformed Sterlings game, and now Sterling knows what he can do and has the confidence to do it. 3 MoTM performances in 5 games!

Should have been off before setting up their goal that's for sure. Once he wasn't though I felt Sterling could have gone at him more.

Still a great game from him, a talent never in doubt if you have a pair of eyes.
