We'll never know but even if he didn't it was his job to coach him properly and use his talents not set him back a year, thank god for pepFair enough Karen but Pellegrini would never have signed him given the choice.

I think everyone gets that, anyway let's not go down that route again, forward with pepThere's a square peg Manuel, go stick in that round hole there.
When are people going to realise that Pellegrini was merely holding the fort by the time his last season came around and was hamstrung as a result?

Really wish he'd taken that shot on in the second half. Not because it made a difference to the result - it didn't - but because Raheem deserved a goal.
Yeah I just hope that comes to raheem, some players just never develop that ability (silva).Only thing he's missing now is more goals.
Once he sorts that out, he's world class.
I'm sure he knows, just hasn't got the confidence to do it regularly. Not unlike Silva.Great all round performance but needs to know when to pull the trigger.
Thought he has been excellent recently.
Love the crap reporting on IB Times...
Despite previously suggesting the move to City was motivated by wanting to improve as a player, Sterling has now suggested the chance to play alongside big-name players also played a role.Yeah, those 2 are in no way connected!
