As it happens, no, as it appeared to me he briefly looked over to the line as he was running through, before hitting it at the keeper, so imo he was expecting to be called offside & not trying 100% to score. Linos are told not to flag.
You could argue he should have gone for it 100% & scored first but imo he knew what was coming & was wondering where the flag was.
In the Prem, players are conditioned not to shoot in those circumstances & get yellow cards for it.
But that is completely irrelevant anyway, as I was referring to the other instance, not this one.
Imo, he did nothing wrong in the onside incident, was just unlucky how the ball fell & we have seen Aguero do the same on numerous occasions, including the blocked 2nd shot.
