Maybe when hes motivated and plays with better players(like Suarez last year) he will shine. But hes terrible finisher and his crosses are worse than anything our fans have seen in previous years, but he is homegrown ofc. About Di Maria though, no one could predict this year, he was world class superstar. Sterling is far, far from it. Without English passport he is younger Bolasie. But yeah its not our (fans) money, still I think that kind of sum could be invest in world class superstars and Sterling is not in that class and who knows if ever will be.

I've not seen much to suggest he has a massive Ego. Liverpool made the discussions public in the first place, from what I've seen and what I can gather Liverpool are basically trying to brow beat him in to a new contract. Add that to the amount of money they've spent on absolutely shit players and some of the wages those players have been given? Can you really blame him for wanting out when Liverpool look to be going in reverse.

Told him I reckoned Mario had recommended City and that we probably wouldn't have been able to afford the transfer without the sell on fee from AC Milan. He knows I'm taking the piss but I'm still getting dirty looks today :D
