Bwbwbwwbbbbbbbbaaagaahhahahahahaaa. The deluded fuckwits. And I bet some dozy twunts will sign it.
Make Raheem Sterling honour his contract but remove him from first team football.
Paul Carlin Southport, United Kingdom
Raheem Sterling is attempting to engineer a transfer from our
club by making his position untenable.
If Sterling thought the advice or actions of his agent were
inappropriate he should change who represents him. By not
doing so, he is condoning the actions and words which have
led to the condemnation of fans and football professionals -
past and present.
Liverpool football club must surely be considering cutting
their losses and placing the player on the transfer list. I could
understand such a response because who wants continue to
pay a player who does not want to represent your club or
your fans.
If the club decide to take a stance where selling is not an
option - the player does have over two years left on his 35K a
week contract - then they must surely remove him from the
first team for a period of time.
I as a fan and supporter would go further. I would happily
pay £1 a week directly to LFC for the remainder of Sterling's contract if it were assured that he did not see his name in the first team squad again. I would also ask that the club place him on the transfer list for circa £85m - I don't think there would be many takers....
If 35,000 other loyal supporters and fans, who feel as
betrayed and disrespected as I do, decided to do the same we
could send a powerful message to those individuals who
think that contracts in football are meaningless.
More importantly, it will send a message about Liverpool Football Club, we the club and the supporters will NOT tolerate this.
