Enjoyed his performance today, and got a slight murmur of fear when he went down injured.mi love the way he goes past people over a couple of yards, often from a standing start. I think we will get him and I think he will be a brilliant signing.
I thought he had a good game. Wilshere's goals were special, but the only other highlight was Sterling's bursts with the ball. He didn't do much but what he did do was open up their defence with his runs direct at their defence. I thought he was more of a threat when he was running at their box from midfield rather than when he was out wide.

I don't think we would be considering spending £25m plus on him but for the homegrown rule. Might be one of England's best forwards, but he's still raw and not the finished article (probably goes without saying seeing as he's 20).

Listening to some of the Englund game on 5live, and at half time one of the BBC reporters said Sterling's finishing left a bit to be desired and that he should stay at Liverpool to work on that part of his game, he would then become the complete player. So a fucking BBC commentator is now giving advice on the matter and joining in with the fucking media/Anfield (one and the same thing) party line. Oh, and not taking into account how long Sterling has been at the club, so maybe a better opinion would have been 'Sterling's finishing isn't good, and given the fact that he's been at Liverpool for 5 years, maybe it's time he moved on and see if another set of coaches can improve that part of his game'. Fucking bent Scouse lickspittle apologist twatting cunts.

Obviously, just my opinion.........and not that of the Board's owner or Moderators...!
so besides ,more money, playing alongside world class players,in front of more than 50,000 every other week,a better chance of winning cups and champions legue football .why on earth would sterling want to join city

Keown is a dumb biased pile of drivel of a commentator. Amazing how BBC have recruited crass commentators like him, p neville and savidge.

The fact is, other than Hart (Barry too perhaps), we haven't had a top quality England player since the takeover. I mean, we've had some decent players like Lescott, Micah, Johnson, Milner, SWP (2nd time round), Onuoha, Lamps and we've also had some shit like Sinclair, Bridge, Rodwell, Wright and Taylor. We haven't really had one of England's best players, a player that can not only fill a squad space but can actually be one of the best players in the team like Rooney, Lampard, Gerrard, Terry etc. Sterling has the potential to be that standard, and let's be honest there aren't many at the moment. We could have one of the only England players worth having in 6/7 years.

I for one would love him here. I think he'll be a star.

Surprised people actually care what they have to say. I mute the tv when they do the analyse of matches because it's just so poor.

Probably because Sterling is the only English player since the takeover with the potential to be top quality

Yeah, he caused real problems in the Silva area of the pitch.my take is that he should be used predominantly wide right. I'm not a fan of inverted wingers, and it's a position we really could strengthen. Your point, though, is still relevant because of the way that our attackers drift and swap. He can slip into dangerous areas around the box, the place we we are most dangerous when we pass short around the area.

I think he would be a brilliant signing,
