Both Isco and Hazard are far more proven and far better players than Raheem is.
It appears we will be paying a very serious premium due to the fact he is English.

I assume it was because of FFP restraints.

I would suspect that our hierarchy regret their stance, particularly with Hazard, and have now decided if they have to pay a few quid more than they wanted to in order to land the A listers and not end up with inferior alternatives then they will have to do this in order to give the manager and squad the quality to seriously compete on all fronts

We are one of the few clubs who pay cash upfront for our signings. Most teams pay on the never never like some crappy Radio Rentals contract. Cash on the hip must be an attraction to the selling club?

I think that a transfer will be agreed Thursday/Friday. I don't think we'll hear about any third offer,but discussions between the two clubs will be made so that a compromise on the sale price is agreed.

No I can't justify £38m for a player that is half as important as Aguero or Yaya or Silva. Not when there are better players to be had at around £40m.

Aguero would go for at least 80m in todays market. Probably more. No overshadowing at all.

I agree. I am talking about Sterling being max £35-38m. not this £50m as a justifiable value. £35-38m should be a take it leave it deal.

Possibly, you know this figure of addons what are they exactly and who do they go to? Is a 40million cash full better than 35mill plus 5million addons?

I imagine its a full payment of say £35M upfront and after "x" amount of time the balance (or add ons) is then paid in full.I`m no accountant so I may be completely well wide of the mark.
