It's the constant moaning about what can be bought for £50 million, it's not our money!!! Some City fans would like to go back to Jamie Pollock, Jason Van Blerk etc. If they feel so strongly maybe they should! Season tickets for £299 for fucks sake, what more do some people want?!

Just leave it alone fella. I don't think he's worth £50m, I'd be stunned if anyone on here actually believed he was worth that type of money. However, the people who run our club may think differently and consider it value cover the length of a contract.

If we were selling him now we'd be demanding £50M

The markets inflated that much. If we sign him for say £45M and we get 8 years of him at his best we won't need to sign another wide player on the same side. Paying £45M for him will be better than buying two £20M players four years apart
