He's not worth 50 million, but the transfer market over the last few seasons has gone mad. Liverpool paid 35 million for Andy Carroll 5 years ago. How there fans can say we're getting ripped off is beyond me.

The fee is pretty much irrelevant, the club is not spending it's last penny on him.

Why the sudden rise in posts? Have we agreed a fee? Can't see anything on the major news outlets.
50m is overpriced but he also checks all the boxes, I for one will be happy to see him in a city shirt. Another thing I like about sterling is that from what I've seen of him he 'shows up' in big games, which is a sign of a great player

He's cut his summer jollies short and flown back to England in a private jet. Now that might be because he misses Black Puddings and tripe and doesn't rate Spanish food, or it might mean.............................?

I thought he'd cut it short, but I don't know and just going off what I've read on the tinterweb which obviously can be very unreliable.
