I think there are more positive signs lads, than negatives. Since the last bid was reported as rejected they have gone on to spend and bring in players

I see it as a sign they have agreed a price for sterling already

I do think we have reason to be worried with this. Not heard one bean in about 2 weeks now. Nothing in the papers apart from 'Irish' Aldridge blabbing off.

You do realize that City have been constantly working quietly right? So once we have prices agreed or at least preparing for that stage there won't be rumors because we work silently and they won't want to leak it to the press either. Most of the talk of sterling was kept up to date by people discussing how good/ bad he is and the scousers moaning about Sterling being a money-grabber.

True, but I hope that'd act as an incentive to prove them wrong. The U-turn in the media since it became clear he was leaving has been incredible. He's gone from being the best English prospect of his generation to a raw, overrated prima donna.
