Pretty sure he's worth more than Bony!

That just means we overpaid for Bony then. I mean is Mangala worth more than Silva and Aguero because he cost more?
Anyway it's only my opinion, I'm not saying I don't like him as a player. He has potential, but he hasn't sustained his form from the back end of last season, only has 1 goal at International level (against Lithuania) and did nothing in the Champions League this season.
I'd wait for him to prove himself further at the highest level before I'd put him in the £50 million bracket or anything close to that.

Once he proves himself further, then he becomes a legitimate target for Bayern, Barca or Real and beyond our reach. We are falling too far behind the top 3 and cannot afford another year of regression; only Messi and Aguero of the world's current elite players can legitimately claim to have been more accomplished than Sterling at the same age.
I think a serious offer of around £35m would tempt them into doing business; a prompted transfer request would also speed things up.
The issue we have is our club valued Fernandinho at £30m, Mangala at circa £35m so on that scale £50m for Sterling is conservative, given his age and impact at the highest level.

He has some unhealthy obsession with him, every other post has some relation to Sterling.SPIDERBOY said:IWasHere said:CityFan94 said:That was Sterling's 7th league goal this season, which is pretty good for 20 year old winger.
Nasri, Milner and Navas have 5 league goals combined this season.
What point are you trying to make? Iniesta has no goals and assists this season.
This says your wrong.

YOUR point has been put across, you clearly have a dislike,(or whatever you want to call it) of sterling, and that's your choice and I respect that.....why don't you just ignore the thread.
Pretty sure Gotze and Neymar could have a say too there..A. said:Vincents Tackle said:ManCityX said:Pretty sure he's worth more than Bony!

You're right, you'll be selling him for under £30m.barneylfc said:We aren't selling him for under £50m and I don't think he'll leave this summer. He's fantastic though. Ridiculously intelligent for a 20 year old.
