I was contacted this morning by one of the national papers, asking if I'd pen an article for them about Sterling.

They asked if I was alarmed by his refusal to go on tour, and whether he'd be loyal at City, to which I replied that I wasn't remotely concerned.

They then said thanks, but that's not the angle we're after.

No doubt they'll now wheel out someone like Colin Shindler who will provide the negative slant they require.

This tells you everything every human in this country needs to know about the way in which The Gutterpress operates.

Avoid them like the plague.

To the agenda thread with info like that Boss! ;-)

Sums it up. They all have their narrative to follow and ignore anything that disproves it. Clearly the narrative has been well set that Sterling is a greedy, ungrateful little shit who should have played for free at Liverpool for the love of the shirt instead of the truth being a young ambitious player who wants to play for a better team to win trophies.

It was probably wise to refuse. Whatever you wrote they'd no doubt do a nice job of editing it to suit their agenda. Haha, can you imagine the backlash on here if that happened.
Does Schindler still class himself as a blue? I thought he'd finally gone over to the dark side and was now a FCUM fan along with the other turncoats. It would be no surprise to see him spouting the usual bollocks about City in the press.

Come on, name and shame please!

@Ric should post the email so that posters can volunteer to help the outlet with their story. I'd back myself to piece together a cracking article. I'd even sort out the images for them. If I can position my mirror correctly whilst leaning back at the right angle, I might just be able to get a cracking photo of myself brandishing my arse whilst giving them the middle finger.

Can someone explain why it's ok for a club to sell a player while still under contract and the club make it perfectly clear that that player isn't in their plans anymore.Which i'd guess you could say about Edin.
But when a player wants to do the same thing ie Sterling get ripped to bits.
