I think Sterling isn't a player that can improve us significantly.

He has pace but not a great deal else. Similar player to Walcott, who has not greatly progressed over the last 3-4 seasons .

£ 55 million would be wasted buying Sterling simply to add pace to our team.

So hes not progressed since 16?? give the lad a chance he's 20 years of age.

and your wrong. 91 Appearances with 18 goals is a good start to anyones career.

I think Sterling isn't a player that can improve us significantly.

He has pace but not a great deal else. Similar player to Walcott, who has not greatly progressed over the last 3-4 seasons .

He has much more to him than pace.

I see him as a potential replacement for Samir Nasri and lets face it if we pay around the £30-35mill which would be offset with the sale of Samir who we will sell for around £25-30 mill. He is far from the finished article but he would add that pace in the counter attack and will only develop into the world class player he threatens to be at a big club playing alongside world class players like Aguero just like he shown last year with Suarez. He will be our Eden Hazard and offer us around 30 goals a season weather it be in actual goals or assists, this is better than everyone at our club this season apart from Aguero.

Haha I see Gotze's in the lineup already. This would be a good team with exception of Wilshere.

I'd take Scheiderlin, put him in the Dinho spot and move Dinho up to Wilshere.

Would gotze make enough difference to say we would be instant favourites for next season? Not for me......bale i reckon. We desperately need a left sided world class player with pace! Bale would be immense.
