Haha we're getting so much stick right now it's unbelievable!

Perspective:

Rooney to Rags 11 years ago was £26m - he was 18.
This transfer overtakes Carroll to Lpool (£36m) in 2011 as most expensive English player
He's 20, a golden boy winner and statistically the "hottest young player in Europe".

I don't give a toss what people want to sling at us, we'll stuff their words down their throats like we did when they laughed at £24m for Yaya!

Hes nowhere near being great player there is a lot of development needed in him. Youll find he cant shoot, he runs into a lot of dead ends and his final ball is suspect. The worst part of his game is the final 1/4 of the pitch. There is a lack of substance.

The England game against Italy in the world cup typifies his performance. He looks good on the ball, he looks like he was tearing italy apart, but he didnt actually contribute anything significant in the game.

Pedro is almost 28 and has never played in the Prem. Sterling has already proved he can do it and at City he will no longer be surrounded by shite or played at right back by a clueless manager.
No matter how much you try and spin it, you've just lost your best player, again.
He will prove his value in blue you can be sure of that.
 
To all those Liverpool fans congratulating themselves don't forget a pile of cash has never picked up a trophy
