Are we there yet ? We are ? May I be the 1st to say................aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ! Fuck you liverpool, you crying bastards ! Get used to being in the back seat in the world of football..........you are in for a long, long ride !

Well chuffed with Sterling, the dippers will obviously mention the fee but it's down to bitterness and jealousy. Let's face it the tables have massively turned we are a buying club and they are the selling club. Sterling can hopefully get on with his football and show everyone next season how good he is in a blue shirt.

Not for £49million were not!

He was a good prospect but he wasnt exactly great last season. Hes probably a £25-30 million player based on his current abilities.

This seems to be something the Liverpool folk don't understand so I'll try to explain clearly.

When he had Sturridge fully fit, Suarez buzzing around him, Gerrard on form and Coutinho playing well, he looked a World beater. His Premier League goal tally went down by 2 goals last season but his assists went up by 2.

Instead of Sturridge and Suarez, he was playing with Balotelli and Lambert. Every time you had a player missing, his position was changed. You relied heavily on him all season and are surprised when a player doesn't look as good for a team finishing 7th as he did when you finished 2nd.

Put him alongside Yaya Toure, David Silva and Sergio Aguero and you'll see how good he is again.

Does anyone actually know that the 49 million includes QPR's sell on fee? Could we be paying that separately and in addition?

Hi Chancy, Liverpool have to give QPR that money out of the agreed 45mil + add ons....so Liverpool come out with roughly £39mil in "real" money...
