It really seems Pep's tactics evolved during this 2-3 years and it looks like Raz isn't fit for this kind of play we're trying to play this (and last) season. Every player in our squad had its ups and downs during last few seasons, but it looks like Sterling talents are not crucial to us as it was three years ago. We just don't have any edge against strong teams playing him as a winger or as a striker.

Not wanting to fight for his form and place also shows his character
Sometimes you fight to hard and feck up the simple things. He's always put a defensive shift in and He's always in the right place, however his dribbling, passing and sometimes his control has been up to the level we've seen in the past. I think it's more to do with confidence than attitude. I've very rarely seen attitude with Raheem, he comes across as humble and a bit uncomfortable with the expectations.

Possible our tactic have changed due to teams sitting back and defending? But you're right, we seem to be quicker in the pass now.

I don't really catch your drift.

Are you saying that your post wasn't a load of bollocks simply because you were playing devil's advocate?
I was responding to the poster that suggested his view was factual and proffered an alternative view.

None of us know what's going on in his head, or what his demeanor is around the club, so neither view can be taken as factual.

its not a confidence problem. it is a lack of talent problem. he never had the ability to control and pass like our other players nor does he has the talent to sterike a ball

I've wanted Sterling replaced for since tge middle of last season I guess(definitely in the summer) so I am delighted we got Grealish and have Palmer coming true.

I just hope that he goes in a positive manner.
1. We show our appreciation for all his efforts over the years he was here.
2. Any deal seems fair so that we put it towards a striker.
3. He keeps mum so that when he returns to play against us it's all positive.
