I think for those that pretend Sterling hasn't been abused or they think that he is fairly criticised then go and look at the player performance thread.

Look at the number of pages all the other players have got and then take a look at the size of Sterling's, then go away and think that an average of 40 pages for the other players and a thread up to 250 pages by January is fair and consistent with how other players have played or haven't played and then commented on, it is ludicrous to even think Sterling is commented on in a fair and impartial fashion and that is both ways but I can at least understand his defenders doing so.

There has been plenty of abuse on here for those that are too blind to see it, in his player threads or in the matchday thread, where it goes way above general criticism of a player out of form.

Nonsense I’m afraid you can’t compare averages for each player for several reasons, also that thread will be large as much as a result of fanboys as those with negative views. It will be full of nonsense and bias from both ends of the spectrum.

As an example as he has played better recently.

Sensible posting - raz played well today hope it continues

Fanboy posting - see told you he would come good where are all the knockers, disappeared till the next bad game

Neagative poster - didnt think he was very good he lost the ball x number of times and the goal was a tap in

Naturally two of those posts will get lots of replies and a never ending argument that has been done to death week in week. It amuses how some complain about a long thread when their own fuckwittery has contributed to a large part of it.
