To say Sterling's stats have been uplifted due to playing in such a high quality and successful side is unfair. With the number of appearances he's made over the last 5 years (of which we've won 4 PL titles) and his contributions in those seasons it's fair to say he is a huge part of that system and what makes it so successful. You could go as far to say players like Sterling, KDB etc ARE Pep's system.

Cheers,interesting to get the opinion of a rival....from that comment,it sounds like some of of our supporters have a hyped up/false perception of his talent.

Some at Chelsea thought De Bruyne was crap .

He'll try to run down his contract and don't blame him. He's been a great servant to Manchester City. His lackadaisical finishing drives me mad, but he simply deserves respect.
