I think you have expressed an opinion, not a fact. What Sterling has over Palmer is experience, which is different from who's the better player currently

Neither of us know how well each are currently playing, but we do know that Sterling's last two seasons were not as good as his previous, so it is not beyond the realms of possibility that Palmer wouldn't be a downgrade.

Time will tell of course

I think its no coincidence that Sterling's down seasons have come when we don't have a striker.

That said, I think its time for him to move on

Think he stats were pretty good last season, will all know with his quality he will improve like every player should try and improve every season..
Yeah and hopefully he and Haaland become unplayable.

Foden sacrificed himself somewhat as the false 9 last season. Hopefully this will be his breaking out into a superstar season.

Palmer is 20 years old. He has 4 career league appearances.

When Foden was Palmers age he had 2 PL titles, 3 EFL Cups, an FA Cup, 41 PL apps, 74 career appearances, plus caps and goals for England.

When Sterling was Palmer's age he already had 20 England caps and a record breaking £49m transfer behind him.
Oh, and a Golden Boy award.

I love Palmer and think he could be fantastic in time but these comparisons to Foden and Sterling will do him absolutely no favours.
How am I comparing them personally?
What I'm saying is that a lot seem to dismiss them because of their ages.
Surely we'll know more about them when they get more game time as we did with Phil.
As the saying goes "if they're good enough, then they're old enough".

It's been like 10 years since Sterling was an untested kid.

The fuck are you on about?
Sterling was once like Palmer, untested and talented. He got a chance and look at what hes achieved.

Palmer has been training with the first team for years and has already scored in domestic and european competition. He needs a chance for more game time.

Yes but if there is a possibility of negatively posting a comment about Sterling and in the same breath over hyping one of our very promising youngsters then of course some will take it.

I couldn't even say for certain the deal is still on the table.

Yeah I don't hate the guy or blame City fans for having nostalgia for his 100 goals for the club, highlighting his positives

but he does have negatives..

Maybe it is just time you know.. thanks for your service to the club and best of luck Raz.

Please don't show this one or the United game.

This kills me every time I see it :(
