#RainbowLaces

Very funny. Good for them for doing it. I wonder if Giroud had anything to do with organizing this? He doesn't come across as gay much in the ad :)

I can see why Arsenal's players wearing different coloured boot laces is going to change the homophobic culture present in football.

I'm just struggling to explain it at the moment.

Raisin awareness and hoping the average neanderthal in the crowd might think again about being homophobic. Personally I think if you are prejudiced against something or someone then no amount of raising awareness will make a blind bit of difference. It's just with younger fans that it can have an effect.

Good luck to them.

It's not that long ago when monkey chants were the norm up and down the country. The silent majority wouldn't stand for that sort of vile discrimination now, hopefully homophobia will go the same way.
It's disgusting

good to see clubs and especially players getting behind this now. Am i right in thinking there was going to be a campaign a few years back but not one premier league footballer would be the spokesman for it? remember being very disapointed when i heard that.
Last year iirc, they attempted the same rainbow laces campaign and not a single club went for it I think, each making an almost coordinated excuse as to why they couldn't. It seems like it's only because PaddyPower have got involved that any of them dare do it, which is pretty pathetic.

Paddy Power were involved last year too mate - slightly dubious as to their self-publicising motives first time round, but good on them for making it a seemingly annual thing.
