Ramires....

We were never interested in Ramires.

But he "snubbed" us! According to the parasite vermin scum press that is...

the press aren't making it up. someone, an agent, someone at a club, is doing chelsea's PR a favour by pretending we had an interest and they beat us to him.

you know what, I even have serious doubts about chelsea being interested. this story has hardly been mentioned in the press apart from that one paper.

think I understand this one a bit better.

our old friend kia joorabchian acquired 50% of the economic rights to Ramires one month ago. price: 6m. I'm sure he wouldn't object to a story appearing in british press suggesting player is subject of 20m bids from two teams.

also whispers about who he actually bought those rights from. some say it was the brazillian federation. and the deal was struck at the world cup, allegedly with no input from the player himself whatsoever.

Ah, good old Kia, doing things as only he knows how.

All perfectly above board, of course.

Makes me laugh when people wonder why Tevez is/was making trouble - there's a pretty obvious answer as to why...

Oh, and he hoovered up Tevez in dodgy, exploitative fashion early in his career too...wonder what percentage of Tevez's salary has ended up in his shifty little Cayman-domiciled pocket over the years? 50%?

It's funny that none of the City fans had ever heard of this guy before he "snubbed" us. Not a single rumor about this guy despite a press willing to print any rumor.

"Not a very good one"? He got plenty of talent.

He's off to Chelsea anyway it seems:
<a class="postlink" href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/c/chelsea/8881118.stm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/footbal ... 881118.stm</a>

£17m.

Will fit nicely in Chelsea with Cole and Ballack gone, with some injury prone midfielders there too.

Not sure if it's wise to spend £25-30m on Milner if a talented international is available for £17m.
