Made his debut in the same debut match for Steve Daley v Southampton I think remember him missing several chances in a 1 0 home loss can't remember if he ever scored for us ?Stuart Lee.

Never say DaiDuncan Davidson was during Billy Mcneill's time as manager wasn't he? He signed a lot of fellow Scots didn't he! Some were pretty decent for a while Parlane, Tolmie , Melrose and Mcnab (very underated imo!).
Wouldn't put old Dunc in that bracket, think he did however once score a last minute winner at Maine Road(or was it the equally memorable Dom Sullivan?).
From memory the goal wasnt a contender for goal of the month, I think it hit the post, rolled along the line, hit the keepers arse and went in (still, they all count don't they)
Game in question was against Swansea I think and the keeper might have been Dai Davies (who I'm sure Martyn Margetson based his game on!)
Know someone who went to school with him.Chris Chantler who had a very brief substitute appearance under Roberto Mancini.

He got a great move to Hong Kong which Paul Power was instrumental in setting up for himDavid Wiffill. Signed from Bath City by Malcolm Allison, probably because of his and Tony Book's history with the club. Never played a game but was an unused sub once. He was in the City documentary though as Malcolm Allison is saying bye to the the players he says bye to Wiffill ended up back at Twerton Park eventually in the 90s.
